Ed Klemz, Owner & Founder

In 1981 Ed Klemz started being involved with application programming, electrical engineering and design of computer systems. He purchased his first computer, an Apple II+, in 1978. Since then he has designed computers and sensors for industrial control and automation, written applications and drivers in many computer languages and published commercial software for Macintosh. He holds a degree in Computer Science and multiple certificates in computer programming and electronics.

Ed founded Central Coast in 1994 with a commitment to support the ad, design, marketing and print community with concerned personal attention. Now with hundreds of customers, Central Coast continues to grow.

As “the voice” of Central Coast, you’ll find Ed leading many of the training and workshop sessions we provide, and he has presented to groups large and small on a number of technology-related subjects at the annual AIGA Design Camp.

Ed uses Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Suitcase and a host of utilities for Central Coast’s marketing, web site and ad design. He has appeared in Twin Cities Business Monthly and guest hosted Craig Crossman’s Computer America radio talk show. Ed sits on the Hennepin Technical College Graphic Design Advisory Committee and is a proud member of AdFed, AIGA and MIMA.

A message from Ed–

“Its my job to make sure you get the most out of your technology, your business and yourself. This does not happen by accident–we work with our clients to help them be the experts for their customers, ensuring a lasting relationship that benefits us all.”
