PRIVACY POLICY

What we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in plain language.

EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 23, 2026

This policy explains how Central Coast Solutions, Inc. ("Central Coast Solutions," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through centralcoastweb.com, our free IT estimate, and our client portal. We are an IT services company, and we treat your information the way we ask our clients to treat theirs: collect only what's needed, keep it secure, and don't hold onto it longer than necessary.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Free IT estimate and contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, company name, company size, industry, and role, plus your answers about your IT environment, current provider, security practices, compliance needs, timeline, and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • Consultation requests: the call times you prefer and the contact details you provide.
  • Email, phone, and job applications: whatever you include when you contact us directly, including resumes sent to us by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Visit logs: when you view a page, we record the page, the date and time, your IP address, and the referring page (the site that linked you to us, if any).
  • Server logs: our hosting environment keeps standard technical logs used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Google Analytics: on our public website, Google Analytics collects information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

Client portal

If you are a client, the portal stores your account details (name and email address), one-time sign-in codes, support tickets and comments, files you upload, and service records related to the work we do for your organization.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses these cookies:

  • Essential cookies: a security cookie that protects our forms from being submitted by other sites, and sign-in and session cookies for the client portal.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies that recognize repeat visits, so we can see how many people visit, which pages are useful, and where visitors come from.

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC, which receives this usage information when you visit our public pages and handles it under Google's Privacy Policy. We use it only to understand and improve our website. We do not use advertising features, we do not send Google your name, email address, or form answers, and we do not use Google Analytics in the client portal.

You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser settings, or by using a content blocker. The website works normally without analytics cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising pixels. Our fonts and images are served from our own website.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and prepare your IT estimate.
  • To follow up with you about our services, if you asked us to contact you or submitted an estimate request.
  • To provide, support, and bill for the services we deliver to our clients.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and to investigate misuse.
  • To understand which pages people visit so we can improve the site.
  • To review job applications.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We use secure hosting, database, and email providers that process information only on our behalf and under our instructions. Google receives website usage information through Google Analytics, as described above. Beyond that, we disclose personal information only when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

How long we keep it

  • Estimate and contact submissions: up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
  • Website visit logs: up to 12 months.
  • Google Analytics data: up to 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically.
  • Client portal and service records: for as long as we provide services to your organization, and afterward as long as needed to meet our contractual, legal, and accounting obligations.

How we protect it

Information is encrypted in transit, stored in access-controlled systems, and available only to staff who need it to do their jobs. Client portal accounts use one-time sign-in codes sent to your email. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the same security practices we recommend to our clients.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • delete your information, unless we need to keep it to meet a legal or contractual obligation; or
  • stop contacting you about our services.

Email info@centralcoastweb.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within 45 days. Minnesota residents and residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws, and we will honor them.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change significantly affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies.
